Now is the perfect time to spend time in your garden
The current climate is understandably very worrying for all of us, and we are all working to protect our family and friends from the virus that is seemingly taking over the world right now. We are being advised to distance ourselves from other people and that can have an impact, both mentally and physically.
A few days into being stuck inside, you start to crave the fresh air and wide open spaces right outside your door. It might even feel like you’ll never be allowed to go outside again—such a shame during this time of year. But social distancing doesn’t have to mean being cooped up inside all day.
One of the things we can do and still maintain distance from others is to spend time in the garden. Time outside in the fresh air and sunshine can have a positive effect on our mind and body.
It has been proved that by simply being around plants, stress levels can e reduced. There is even a report that suggests that feelings of fear and anger can be reduced simply by being around plants. So, why not walk away from the TV for a while, stop worrying about finding more toilet roll, and take some time out in your garden? If you don’t as yet have the garden space that could become your go to place for relaxation during these testing times, then why not give us a call?
