Set back on one of Knaresborough's steep hills leading into the town from harrogate this garden required substantial excavation. Retaining walls were put in place and given a rendered coat finish for a contemporary look, a fence using deluxe fencing panels was fixed to the top of the walls surrounding the garden. The garden itself featured a mix of Indian sandstone paving, decking and an edged lawn, adding interest to a relatively small space.
When the landscape gardening in knaresborough was complete it created a very nice courtyard garden which could be used as an entertaining area.
